Our client is a fast-growing Agribusiness Company, part of a regional group with operations in Angola and Portugal, dedicated to importing premium tropical fruits, ensuring local ripening, distribution, and sales in the Namibian market.

We are now strengthening the team with a Field Sales Representative – Fresh Produce, who will be responsible for visiting supermarkets and wholesale clients, ensuring product visibility, negotiating shelf space and in-store promotions, and monitoring product performance at the point of sale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit supermarkets, wholesalers, and key clients regularly to:
    • Negotiate product space, positioning, and promotional displays;
    • Ensure correct product placement, freshness, and appealing presentation;
    • Monitor stock levels and shelf rotation to avoid shortages or waste;
    • Identify opportunities to boost sales directly at the point of purchase.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with fruit and vegetable department managers and decision-makers.
  • Collect market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and promotions.
  • Support the commercial and logistics teams with accurate demand feedback from stores.
  • Report regularly to the Commercial Director on market trends and field performance.

Perfil

  • Proven experience in field sales or key account support within the FMCG or fresh produce sector.
  • Existing network with supermarket section managers (fruit & vegetables) and wholesale buyers will be highly valued.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on, results-driven, and comfortable working in the field.
  • Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.
